This morning, I read the book of Esther to finish my reading the entire Bible for 2025. I praise the Lord for the grace and the freedom to read the whole Bible through for yet another year!
A highlight of my reading through the Bible this year was my extended study of Revelation 18. God answered my prayers that I have been praying for understanding and illumination of that passage in a glorious way after my studying and praying earnestly for around a decade!
The only books that I have read more than once so far this year have been Colossians (2x) and Revelation (3x).12

- With 23 days left in the year, I expect that I may read through one or more books of the Bible still this year. I will likely update this post with additional footnotes for any other books that I do read before the end of the year. ↩︎
- I have also now read the following books twice this year: Psalms, Ephesians, Jude, and 2 Peter. I also have read Colossians a third time this year. ↩︎
